TechCrunch reports "Today, the WSJ reported that the NFL’s video test with Facebook ended “quietly” earlier this year. The publication also referred to it as a “partnership,” a term that is used very loosely in business, especially here in the Valley. But hey, maybe Facebook decided to end the thing (we’ve asked Facebook and will update if we hear back). The test involved promoting Verizon-sponsored, NFL-related clips within people’s news feeds with post-roll ads. We’re guessing it didn’t work, otherwise it would have turned into an actual deal.". AdMobilize And Verizon Partner To Monitor Ads In The Real World

TechCrunch reports "AdMobilize, a new monitoring and tracking technology that measures attention and traffic in stores and for outdoor advertising, is partnering with Verizon* to add 3G connectivity to its outdoor beacons. In July, the Miami-based company announced the second version of its AdBeacon product, a way to measure ad performance in the physical world. The Hollywood Reporter reports "Avid, whose products include the widely used Media Composer editing system and ProTools postproduction sound system, named Kyle Kim-Hays its new chief marketing officer. He’s Avid’s first senior exec to be based in Los Angeles, which is the company’s largest U.S. market.
