Los Angeles – Spotlight Ticket Management, a developer of Web-based
software for the corporate sports and entertainment market, has raised $2.5
million in its first round of funding, led by Point Judith Capital.

Brian
Bedol, the founder of Classic Sports Network (now ESPN Classic) and CSTV (now
CBS College Sports), also participated.

The company, which is based near Los
Angeles, provides corporate ticket owners and sports teams with Web tools
designed to help them maximize the impact of event tickets.

Its Spotlight
Ticket Management Solution (TMS) gives clients — such as NBC Universal,
Motorola, the Miami Heat and Chicago Bears — data to determine
return-on-investment for sponsorships, season tickets, luxury suites, hospitality
and events.

Spotlight was co-founded by Joe Greiner (CEO) and Tony Knopp
(president), who together previously led StubHub’s corporate sales department,
as well as COO Aric Haut, a former sales manager at StubHub.
