Mashable reports "The company, founded by David Karp in 2007, has more than 4.6 million users in Australia and 750,000 in New Zealand so it makes sense for the reblogging giant to set up on Aussie shores. Tumblr was acquired by Yahoo in 2013 and comes to Australia in partnership with the local arm of the brand — Yahoo7.
