Half Moon Bay, Calif. – GoPro, a developer of wearable and
gear-mountable cameras and accessories, announced on Thursday that it has
received an undisclosed amount of new funding, from investors Riverwood
Capital, Steamboat Ventures, Sageview Capital, Walden International and U.S.
Venture Partners.

California-based GoPro’s HD HERO line of cameras is used by
customers including National Geographic, Discovery, CNN, CBS and BBC when an
"easy to mount anywhere" pro HD camera is needed.

The company will
use the funds for further international expansion.
