Los Angeles – Two administrators of veteran U.K.-based
BitTorrent file-sharing site Filesoup have been charged with conspiracy to
infringe copyright, TorrentFreak reports.
Local authorities, along with the Motion Picture Association of
America-funded Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT), conducted raids on
the site’s operations in 2009, arresting the two admins in the process. The
admins are reportedly out on bail, but must surrender to custody in early
August.
