Blurb Hires Key Employees from Graphicly

blurbBlurb, the San Francisco-based developer of an indie book and magazine publishing platform, said on Tuesday it has hired several former team members of Graphicly, developer of an ebook creation platform for illustrated books, such as comics, graphic novels and children’s books. Those hired include Graphicly co-founder Micah Baldwin. Blurb said the talent acquisition will help it significantly accelerate its development of ebook and graphic publishing. “This acquisition of incredibly relevant talent will help us advance our vision of 21st century authoring,” said Eileen Gittins, Blurb’s founder and CEO.
