Reuters: Nokia Wins German Patent Verdict Versus HTC

nokiaReuters reports that a German court has ruled in support of Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia declaring that some devices made by Taiwan’s HTC infringed on its power-saving patent. The power-saving patent refers to a technology for saving battery power while connected to a network. This case was one of 22 infringement suits that Nokia filed against HTC in Germany. Nokia said, “Nokia is pleased with this decision, which confirms the quality of Nokia’s patent portfolio.”  Read more
