Crackle, Sony’s streaming TV and movie service, has expanded its distribution to Sony device users in Canada and the U.K., giving them more control over how and where to watch. It previously was available through the Crackle website, via Xbox Live and PlayStation 3, and through apps on iOS and Android mobile devices.

Canadian and U.K. fans can now watch Crackle’s library of ad-supported full-length movies and TV shows via Sony’s Blu-ray players, Bravia televisions and Network Media Players. In the U.K., Crackle additionally is available on the Sony Entertainment Network.

Sony Entertainment Network already offers third-party services including including LOVEFiLM and BBC News, as well as its own services such as Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited.

Crackle’s digital content includes original short form series and full-length traditional television programming and feature films from Columbia Pictures, TriStar Pictures, Screen Gems and others.
