Los Angeles – Warner Bros. (NYSE: TWX) believes that Apple’s (NASD: AAPL) new TV show
rental service prices episodes too low and will cannibalize sales of its
programs, which is why the company isn’t participating, the Associated Press
reported.

Warner Bros. CEO Barry Meyer made those comments on Thursday at an
investor conference.

Apple is renting TV episodes for 99 cents each, while
permanent downloads of those same episodes sell on iTunes for
$2.99 each.
