London - A recent survey of 900 U.K. music consumers found that two-thirds said technology has helped them listen to more music than ever before, with 73% of 13-15 year olds and 20% of those over 40 reporting they use MP3 players at least four times a week.

Conducted by music marketing firm Frukt, the survey also found that 41% of 13-15 year olds listen to music on their mobile phones more than four times a week, a number that fell to just 4% for over 40s.

Among other music technologies, 17% said they listen to online radio, and 12% said they listen to digital radio via TV at least four times a week.

Additionally, Frukt found that nearly 60% of 13-15 year olds, and over 40% of over 40s said they use social networking sites to find new music.
