Video-Sharing Site Fliqz Raises $2.5 Million

Emeryville, Calif. - Fliqz, a video-sharing site and provider of video hosting services, announced that it has raised $2.5 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led by Mohr Davidow Ventures.

Emeryville, Calif.-based Fliqz touts its site as a place to host product demonstrations, corporate messaging and educational videos, in addition to user-generated content.

The company claims a network of hundreds of partner sites, from media and social networking sites to blogs and niche communities, and offers free widgets and other instant video tools for small sites and blogs.

Fliqz raised $1 million in its first round of funding in September 2006.

When I used the fliqzster tool http://www.fliqz.com/fliqzster/selectBanner.html I get video id's around the 10,000 range....which is a far cry from 30 million
