Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products has promoted Hal Snik to Senior Vice President, Soft Goods and Sherice Torres to Senior Vice President, Hard Goods. Both were previously Vice Presidents within their respective areas. The announcement was made today by Leigh Anne Brodsky, President of Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP), to whom Snik and Torres will continue to report.

In his expanded role as Senior Vice President, Soft Goods, Snik will continue to direct NVCP's key properties – including Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants in apparel, accessories and home furnishings. Snik joined Nickelodeon in 1998 as Manager of Apparel Licensing. He serves on the Board of Directors of LIMA, the licensing industry's trade association.

Torres will lead the business development and creative efforts of multiple product categories, including: toys and games; packaged goods; stationery; social expressions; and consumer electronics. Torres came to Nickelodeon in 1999 as Director of Licensing for Interactive, Home Entertainment, and Consumer Electronics.

PixFusion, creator of personalized and branded video products, has expanded its management team, hiring three executives in New York and adding four managers to run new offices operating out of Palm Beach and Cooper City, Florida.

Marlo Gold, formerly chief executive officer of DigiKidz, has joined the company as General Manager of PixFusion Florida and will oversee the team including; Mark Bender and Scott Aschbrenner, product development co-directors and David Gold, director of business development.

In New York, Urmalena Gomes has been named Marketing Director; Erik Slavin Director of Content Development; and Laura Perrotta Director of Content Production.

BabyUniverse, an Internet content, commerce and new media company in the pregnancy, baby and toddler marketplace, announced today several organizational changes.

The role of President of BabyUniverse, previously held by Stuart Goffman, has been divided into three separate divisional president positions to reflect the company's distinct lines of business.

, Executive Vice President of BabyUniverse and formerly Director of Marketing, has been appointed to the newly established position of President, Mainstream eCommerce. Specifically, she is responsible for the business lines of BabyUniverse.com, DreamTimeBaby.com and certain elements of BabyTV.com.

Andrea Edmunds, President and Founder of PoshTots, has been appointed to the newly established position of President, Content and Social Networking. Specifically, she is responsible for the business lines of PoshCravings.com and ePregnancy.com.

Susan Lindeman, COO of PoshTots, has been appointed to the newly established position of President, Luxury eCommerce. Specifically, she is responsible for the business lines of PoshTots.com, PoshLiving.com and future planned eCommerce extensions of the 'Posh' brand.

Robert Brown, citing personal reasons, has resigned from his role as Chief Financial Officer of BabyUniverse and will continue to provide active consulting services to the company while working from his permanent home in Naples, Florida.

Stuart Goffman, a member of our Board of Directors, has relinquished his position as President and COO of BabyUniverse, and has been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer.

The role of Chief Information Officer has been eliminated in favor of the newly established role of Chief Technology Officer. Sean Weiss, formerly Chief Information Officer, will resign from the company effective November 15, 2006. Carlos Barreio, formerly Senior Software Engineer, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer effective immediately.
