Nokia has announced the appointment of Telcogames Co-Founder Mark Ollila to the role of Director of Technology and Strategy for Games and Multimedia. Ollila co-founded Telcogames in 2003, and remains a non-executive director of the company today. In his new role, Ollila will be responsible for technology strategy and business development, plus industry relations and marketing, partnerships and internal roadmapping. He will be based in Espoo, Finland. www.nokia.com D&M Holdings, a home theater and consumer electronics firm, announced today that Frank Sadowski will join the company as Executive Vice President of Business Development. In this newly created position, Sadowski will play a key role in identifying business directions and product strategies for the high-end sector of consumer electronics customers. Sadowski most recently served as Vice President of Global CE Vendor Management at Amazon.com. www.dm-holdings.com MTV Networks, a unit of Viacom, today announced that Mika Salmi has been named President of Global Digital Media for MTVN. In this newly created position, Salmi will work across MTVN's portfolio of multiplatform brands that consist of music, games, entertainment, networking and interactivity. Salmi was formerly CEO of Atom Entertainment, the company he founded and which was acquired by MTVN in August of this year. He will report directly to Judy McGrath, Chairman and CEO, MTVN, and will become a member of her senior strategy team.
