Groove Mobile, a mobile music commerce platform, announced today that Adam Sexton has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. In addition to his current marketing and product management role as a member of the Groove Mobile executive team, Sexton's expanded responsibilities will include driving the development of Groove Mobile's off portal business with wireless companies, entertainment companies, and artist managers.

CMP Technology, a marketing solutions provider to the global technology industry, has appointed videogame industry veteran Kathy Schoback to the position of Group Director of the CMP Game Group. Schoback will be responsible for directing and coordinating all activities of the Group to maximize profitability and growth, and will help set and implement the Group's overall global strategy. She most recently served as VP of Content Acquisition for AGEIA Technologies.

MediaSpan, a provider of digital content management, online marketing and national advertising solutions for local media properties, announced today that it has named two executives to fill newly created senior management posts in its Online Services and Media Software Business Units. Steven Barth has joined the Online Services unit as Executive Vice President and Shawn Duffy has been appointed Vice President of Sales for MediaSpan's Media Software unit.

Barth will direct all of the unit's strategic, technical development and sales operations. Mr. Barth joins the MediaSpan team from Freedom Communications where he had been Vice President, Interactive Metro Division since 2005.

Duffy will be responsible for managing all aspects of MediaSpan Media Software's sales activities, including domestic, international and sales administration. He has been MediaSpan Media Software Director of Sales for the Great Lakes region since 2002.
