AOL veteran Mike Rich has been named to the position of Vice President/General Manager, AOL Music, AOL Radio, Moviefone.com and AOL Television beginning this week. In this role, Rich will be responsible for the programming, products and overall business strategies for these four central entertainment websites. He will report to Bill Wilson, Senior Vice President, Programming, and will continue to be based in New York. Most recently as Vice President, AOL Programming Products and Operations, Rich led the efforts to enhance AOL’s publishing platforms enabling and broadening AOL’s Web 2.0 programming experiences.

, the new multi-platform television network for children that champions literacy and positive values through entertainment, today announced the appointments of Rick Rodriguez as President and General Manager and Kerry J. Hughes as Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales and Sponsorships, effective immediately. Rodriguez will be initially based in Los Angeles, while Hughes will be based out of qubo’s offices in New York.

Rodriguez will be responsible for strategic and day-to-day operational oversight of qubo. During his ten-year career with Discovery Communications, Inc., Rodriguez oversaw the creation of the Discovery Kids network, first in Latin America and later throughout the rest of Discovery’s international markets as Executive Vice President of Content.

Prior to joining qubo, Hughes was National Sales Director, Advertising and Custom Publishing at Warner Bros./DC Comics and Mad Magazine, where she developed and implemented strategic plans for the sale of advertising space in DC Comics publications and custom publishing projects.

today announced the appointment of Andrew Stalbow to Vice President, International, Fox Mobile Entertainment. In this position, Stalbow will be responsible for identifying and creating new distribution channels for Fox Mobile Entertainment’s content in Europe. He will oversee the group’s European carrier relationships, collaborating with the carriers on new formats and business opportunities. Stalbow will report to Mitch Feinman, SVP of Fox Mobile Entertainment, and be based in London. Previously, Stalbow was in business development at Vodafone Group.
