San Jose-based Adobe Systems, the large maker of business and mobile software, on Monday named former Intel executive Ann Lewnes as its Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications. Lewnes previously served as Intel's vice president of sales and marketing and director of partner marketing, which included responsibility for the "Intel Inside" program.

San Francisco-based Dolby Laboratories, a developer of audio and surround-sound technologies, on Monday named Stuart Mitchell as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for its consumer division. Mitchell most recently headed global sales and professional services efforts for PalmSource, and previously served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Immersion.

ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers) has promoted Matthew DeFilippis to Vice President, New Media and Technology, it was announced today by Chris Amenita, Senior Vice President, ASCAP Enterprises. DeFilippis will lead ASCAP's efforts in New Media licensing and in the evaluation of new technology initiatives. Based in New York, DeFilippis previously served as Assistant Vice President.
