Interact-TV Names George Merrick as CEO

Darian Patchin has joined Backfence, a nationwide network of community newssites, as its Vice President of Marketing. Patchin was previously the Vice President of Advertising for the social-networking pioneer Tribe.net.

Amanda Graham of Backfence has been promoted from Director of Sales to Vice President of Sales.

Jay Moores has left GarageGames to pursue other opportunities. He was the Director of Business Development.

Karim Farghaly of Aspyr Media has been promoted from Director of Sales and Business to Vice President of Sales.

Eric Wills has joined Aspyer Media as its Business Development Manager. Wills was previously the Director of Business Development for TransGaming Technologies.

Edna Carey has joined Telcogames as its Chief Marketing Officer. Carey was previously the Marketing Director of iFone.

Karl Woods has joined Kiloo, a mobile entertainment publisher, as its Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Woods was previously the Head of Sales for Europe at Hands-On Mobile (previously Mforma).

Trent tribe has left DreamGear to pursue other opportunities. He was the senior Vice President.

Charles Hirschhorn was elected to Playboy Enterprises’ Board of Directors. Hirschhorn is the founding partner of Fountain Productions in addition to founding and serving as CEO of G4, the world’s first videogame television network.

Tribune Interactive named Kara Walsh General Manager of Metromix, a network of entertainment information websites which currently serves Chicago, Baltimore and Orlando. Walsh previously served as vice president of Village Voice Digital.

SIRIUS Satellite Radio appointed Adrienne Calderone as Senior Vice President and Controller. Previously, Calderone was Vice President and Controller of PanAmSat Corporation, one of the world’s largest fixed satellite services providers.
