YouTube Now Streaming 100 Million Free Videos Daily

San Mateo, Calif. - Video-sharing site YouTube announced that it is now serving up more than 100 million free videos per day to visitors to its website, which represents 60% of all videos watched online. The company counts 20 million users per month, according to Nielsen/NetRatings. More than 65,000 videos are now uploaded daily to the site, which streamed 2.5 billion videos during the month of June. According to data from Web audience measurement firm Hitwise, San Mateo, Calif.-based YouTube currently leads all providers of online video, with 29% of the U.S. market.
