Sunnyvale, Calif. — Yahoo announced that it has acquired WUF Networks, a developer of technology that enables users to access music, photos and other content from their PCs on their cell phones. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Redwood City, Calif.-based WUF Networks is a year-old company with fewer than a dozen employees, and has not yet released any commercial services. "We expect to use their technology and expertise to continue to extend key Yahoo services beyond the desktop," Yahoo spokeswoman Joanna Stevens told The Los Angeles Times.
