Introducing "The Time Machine"

LG Time Machine It seem like such a simple idea, but so far no electronics manufacturer has provided us with a television and digital video recorder (DVR) in one. Until now. LG electronics just announced two new 37-inch and 42-inch HD LCD sets, with what it calls "Time Machine" capability, providing TiVo-like functionality. Each model has a 250 GB hard drive that starts recording when the set is turned on. Both television sets display 1920 by 1080 pixels, which LG says is twice the resolution of normal HD television sets. So far, these time machines are only available in Korea, where the 37-inch model sells for around $3155 (after currency conversion) while the 42-inch retails for $4417, according to TG Daily.
